About Brandon Blewett
Brandon Blewett is Head of Corporate Development at Pave America, where he leads all buy-side and sell-side M&A activity from sourcing and origination through diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration. Since joining the company, he has overseen more than 14 acquisitions across new metropolitan and state markets, helping double Pave America’s size to $1 billion in under two years. His efforts culminated in the company’s sponsor-to-sponsor sale to AEA Investors and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) in 2025. Across his career, Brandon has been involved in more than $210 billion in global M&A activity through corporate development and strategic consulting roles. His previous experience includes directing corporate development and strategy for a publicly traded building products company and advising Fortune 500 and private equity-backed clients on growth strategy, integration, and transaction execution. A licensed attorney (inactive) with a JD/MBA, he brings a blend of legal, financial, and operational perspective to every project. As a frequent business traveler who has logged fifteen years’ worth of weekly flights, Brandon has catalogued both his literal and career journeys into his Amazon best-selling book How to Avoid Strangers on Airplanes. The book is a sharp, humorous look at the habits and human behavior that define modern travel. He is also a contributing author to Leadership DNA: Shaping a Thriving Business Culture. Outside the office, Brandon serves on the Business Advisory Board for the University of Mississippi School of Business Administration, mentors students through the Ole Miss MBA program and SMU Athletics’ Life After Ball initiative, and remains actively involved in service within his local church community. He is a member of the George W. Bush Presidential Center and a proud supporter of SMU Athletics as a Mustang Club donor and season ticket holder. A fitness enthusiast and avid skier, Brandon splits his time between work, travel, and finding humor in both. Brandon earned his Bachelor’s degrees from Southern Methodist University, his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
Careers don’t always follow the flight path we plan — but showing up, staying visible, and learning from the people around us often gets us where we’re meant to be.
